did it again. He came home with Baby barred rock chickens. Of course they are straight run so a mix of hens and roosters. No, we can't keep them all but he enjoys raising them. He likes to tweak feed until the chickens get to the right weight and size. How many eggs can a family of 3 use in a week?
Just for the record they were cold and cuddling even with a heat lamp. My goodness it is summer in Mt. Pleasant, NC. Our daytime temperatures feel like 100 so it's cold to these chicks before the sun comes up.
