If you are a new goat owner and want to know what happens when a baby goat birth gets complicated just watch this. Meg is a first time Mom and is having a big Baby. I tried to stretch her out but it didn't work and the birthing bag broke. We had to get the baby out or risk the baby goat being dead when delivered because she was trying to breath.
All I can say is when you are this attached to an animal it's amazing what you can do. Experience, excitement and a little bit of panic kicks in. Next thing you know you are inside a goat delivering a baby. This isn't our first time pulling a baby goat. We have had over 200 baby goats born at Cotton Bean Goat Farms.
